STATE QUALIFIERS MUST REGISTER ON-SITE AT SECTIONALS: All wrestlers placing in the top five at the Sectionals Tournament qualify for the State Championship.  To wrestle in the State Championship you MUST register and pay the $15 entrance fee on-site at the Sectionals on Sunday. Failure to do so will result in your spot being given to the next place-winner.

ATTENTION: All 1st-4th Graders
We will be scrimmaging at the Campbell school on both February 9th and February 11th.
These scrimmages start at 6:00 pm.  That means 3rd-4th Graders will be coming to practice at 6:00 pm instead of 7:00 pm. Please wear your Dracut uniform for these scrimmages.

TIME & WEIGH-INS:
Saturday, February 6th from 5-7pm at the Chelmsford Police Station, 2 Olde North Rd. Chelmsford, Massachusetts.
 
Sunday, February 7th, morning weigh-ins:
Novice Group from 6:30-7:30am
Middle School from 11:30-12:30pm
 
Wrestling will begin at 8:30 am for Novice and around 1:00 pm for Middle School.
 
Novice DOB- 1998 & 1999
Middle School DOB- 1995,96,97.
Wrestlers must wear Head Gear. Singlets are not mandatory, but are highly recommended.

February 14th, 2010:
Big East Middle School Novice Championship
For any wrestler that placed 5th-8th place in Sectionals.

February 27th, 2010:
Massachusetts Youth Wrestling Novice Division State Championship
Place: Chelmsford High School
Ages: Date-of-Birth 1998,1999 (if born before Aug.31,1999)
For wrestlers that placed 1st-4th in Sectionals.

February 28th, 2010:
Massachusetts Youth Wrestling Middle School Division State Championship
Place: Chelmsford High School
Ages: Date-of-Birth 1995,96,97 AND MUST HAVE PLACED 1st-4th in Sectionals.

THE GOAL OF

DRACUT YOUTH WRESTLING
is to teach the fundamentals of wrestling to each participant and to develop a sense of teamwork, discipline, confidence, and fitness in each wrestler. Participants should be in grades 1-8 and reside in Dracut. This program is organized by The Recreation Department of the Town of Dracut and acts as a feeder program for the Dracut High School Team.
